Kirsten got me a PS3 for Christmas, one of the last generation 80 GB models which is still backward compatible with PS2 games. The newer models are not. I've been a die hard aficianado of the XBox 360 from the beginning, and even more so with the advent of XBox Live arcade and the NetFlix on-line player, so I never really gave the PS3 a second glance. We also own a Wii, but I'm not really a fan. I didn't see any draw to the PS3 other than as a blue-ray player, but the failure of one of the DVD players in my house opened the door to using a PS3 in that role. More importantly, Kirsten wanted one.
