Minor Updates
Hi Folks,
when editing your comments or pages on this site, if you're making a minor update that doesn't need to be advertised to everyone subscribed to your content, please check the "Do Not Send Notificatons for This Update" checkbox before hitting the SAVE button. This is especially useful if you already made a change earlier in the day and folks still probably haven't looked at your first update.

I've made a new Character Page for each of the folks that posted a build here. You should each own your own page. Please move anything you want to keep from here to your own page, updating it if you care to.

Foo is a slang variable. Also, what Mr T pities.
Rentai's builds are now elementalist/dom/lock and chloro/dom/lock. I'm thinking I'll try switching the first one to necro next time I log in, and I'll struggle to make it anything other than necro/dom/lock :P
That said, my rogue is in the same boat now, Saboteur26/Bard12/Ranger0, Bard29/Nightblade9/Ranger0, and Assassin26/Bard12/Ranger0 .. they're all bard12+ and ranger0!
To be fair, when I have more points I do plan on switching the ranger0's to different things .. but still ..
Also, it might end up with all 3 being bard/nightblades :P
Question
I agree, whatever main Soul you choose, 6-8 points in Warlock, and 0 points in Dominator is the best build at least into your 20's. Elemental Summoner at 0 is also useful in solo questing (pet) if it's not your main soul.
But I have one question. What is foo?
Mages
Initial build on Rentai is Summoner/Dom/Lock. The opportunist/lightning synergy is a little less than I had hoped for (I either waste opportunity on void bolts or lose DPS waiting to check if it procced betweed casts) .. but having the ability to channel charge into either hp or sp is great.
Build 2 will be full chloro.
I've realized my biggest issue with mages is no matter what class I think about, I end up deciding foo/dom/lock is the best choice for it. Class needs more different synergies.

Again .. free pet. I plan to trade rng for something with a little defense later. I switch to this when I observe a dire lack of healers, and not quite so much incompetence that I think adding one will help.
Build3 I've been using to experiment with different solo questing builds. Currently using a Riftstalker13/BD/NB combination, forget the exact combination. I figure BD getting more of its damage from combo builders and less from finishers synergizes well with the RS leftover point heal.

Craft: Runcrafter, now at 105. I have minor runes for people if you want them, endurance/int/wisdom/spell crit/spell power and I can make strength/dex/attack power/physical crit if I can find the right materials. Send me an in-game mail with what you'd like and I'll see what I can do. I'll try to pass some out at the beginning of group night, or next time I group with people.
Gathering: Foraging and Butchering--both around 70, working on getting them caught up. If you need supplies from either skill send me an in-game mail with your needs. Otherwise, I'll be selling these for much-needed coin to suuport my Runecrafting addiction...

Kalyndra
My primary healer, Kalyndra.
I have no idea how viable she will be in Dungeon and Raid environments; I suspect her value in PvP will be most limited by my skill. She is designed to focus on sustaining the primary tank, whether her pet when soloing or the group's main. She will have a combat rez every 4 minutes, the ability to break CC every 30 seconds rendering her target immune to most CC for 11 seconds after that. For a Mage, she will be pretty hard to kill and will be able to Transmorgify enemies instantly, without any cooldown. In PvP, she has a full arsenal of tricks and instant cast damaging spells, including a root and two snares. She has an instant single target heal on a 10 second cooldown, and an instant group heal on a 20 second cooldown. Best of all, the Life-based damage she does heals up to 10 group members for 80% of the damage she does, and this is increased by 225% on one group member (presumable the tank). She has a nice Damage-absorbing Shield for herself, castable every 30 seconds, and will have a Damage-dealing Shield she can cast on every other party member. DpS groupmates will have to learn to manage their aggro as she will not be able to rapidly heal multiple people in a short period of time, although this will be mitigated somewhat by the fact she heals multiple people every time she does damage--just not focused healing, so people will die if they don't manage their aggro or have healing options of their own.
She is lacking in AOE damage, so another Mage who is more DpS focused will be very complimentary. I'm looking forward to learning how to play her effectively.
