Cassidy is a somewhat grim, fire haired druidic priestess of Palmata. She has a wry sense of humor, when it can be found, but generally says little and allows her usually overly thorough and violent actions to do the talking. When she does speak it's often worthwhile to listen, as she has an elemental wisdom that cuts through trivia and lays the heart of a matter bare. She considers herself something of a policeman of the natural order, and is particularly focussed on destroying those tainted with Chaos or Undeath. She is known by many in grave as a very nasty customer to cross, one who usually leaves only a smoldering crater in her wake.

Cassidy stands a towering 5'4", has long red hair, deeply tanned skin, and battle scars across most of her body. She might be considered beautiful by some, but only those who can look past her deep disapproval of most human fallibility and pettiness.

Cassidy is a 6th level Druid, 1st Level Monk (Natural Master archetype... see below), currently associated with the LLG.

Animal Companions in PF

An issue I noted is that taking a non-flying animal companion is just foolish for a Druid.  They're a big part of what stands in for the Druid's less than stellar spell selection, but they will usually be absent since the druid can fly.  Not a good choice on my part at all, and another example of how the system expects Druids to dismiss animal companions and summon a new one whenever it's convenient.  No my favorite mechanic in PF.

Tremon Character Sheets

I've started keeping PDFs of my character sheets on Google Docs, and have given permission for everyone in the Tremon campaign(s) to view those documents.  I'll be linking to them from the character pages on this site.  If anyone else wants to do this and has trouble setting it up themselves, please let me know.  Having the sheets accessible to Bear and anyone at whose house we might play will really help when folks can't make the game.

Monk Archetype: Natural Master

Note that this is a proposed new Monk Archetype, and has not yet been vetted or approved by Bear.

A Natural master focusses on using Natural weapons, rather than special Monk weapons, and gains their mastery from studying the movements of the natural world.  Such monks studies occur in a natural setting, usually both solitary and ascetic.  This archetype is heavily favored by shape shifters and others who develop or possess Natural Weapons use for one reason or another.  Druids, Ranger shape-changers, Transmuters, Alchemists, and Lycanthropes are numbered among those few who might seek Natural Mastery.

Natural Masters have proficiency in Simple Weapons, but no Martial Weapons.  They have proficiency in all Natural Weapons, and weapons that are made to mimic natural weapons, clawed Cestus being a favorite.  They may treat ONLY such weapons as "Special Monk" weapons.  Natural Masters treat Natural Weapons interchangeably and simultaneously as Unarmed, Natural, Monk Special, and Normal weapons.

Rather than the normal Monk Bonus Feat list, Natural Masters use the following:

Bleeding Claws **, Improved Critical (Natural Weapons only, choose one type), Improved Initiative, Improved Natural Attack (choose one type), Improved Natural Armor (I, II, or III), Punishing Kick *, Rending Claws *, Toughness, Weapon Focus (Natural Weapons only, choose one type)

Unarmed Damage Dice:

When using Natural Weapons, Natural Masters roll their normal damage die on a successful hit, or their Monk Unarmed Damage die, whichever is greater.

1st Level:

Natural Masters gain Improved Grapple, rather than Stunning Fist.

3rd Level:

Fast Movement applies to all movement modes possessed by the Natural Master due to their form.  This advantage replaces Still Mind.

4th Level:

Natural Masters who are able to shape shift can accomplish this feat one action type faster than normal.  i.e. 1 hour -> 10 min. -> 1 min. -> Full Round -> Standard Action -> Swift Action.  This ability replaces Slow Fall for characters to which it applies.

Further levels to be developed when they become relevant.
