Eureka! My favorite TV show returns July 9th!
In other Sci-Fi-ish news, Flashpoint starts July 17th. Better Off Ted already re-started on June 23rd.

Warehouse 13
Mel and I watched this last night. The production values were very good, ala Eureka. The acting was better than average with the unfortunate exception of Teri Gar, who was less than compelling. The plotting and pacing were decent, but felt a bit forced at the end.
The premise is a huge, ultra-secret warehouse in South Dakota that houses all manner of threatening metaphysical artifacts encountered by the US government, ala the warehouse from Raiders. Two Secret Service agents run afoul of one of the agencies recovery efforts and get draft into the group, which has been badly depleted by various sorts of "casualties". Looks like each week the primaries will be directed to an area of suspicious metaphysical activity and will have to figure out what is causing the problem, then recover it.
I liked the male agent right away, and the female agent will likely grow on me. Overall, I give it a 7, with the potential to get better or a lot worse in coming weeks.

Merlin
My DVR recorded Flashpoint on the 3rd. Haven't watched it yet. Eureka is scheduled to be recorded on 7/10.
My kids and I have been watching Merlin, on NBC. It's a British take on Arthurian legend following the Smallville formula. Merlin is a young man born inexplicably with potent magical powers, which he must conceal as Uther Pendragon's Camelot is built on the bones of many practitioners of the arts who Uther claims terrorized the kingdom for decades before he came to power. Arthur is still a young prince and Merlin becomes his unwilling manservant.
The overall feel is a bit cheesy, much like Smallville or early Buffy, but the excellent acting makes up for a lot. The young actors playing Merlin and Arthur are especially good, and Anthony Head (Giles, from Buffy) is strong as Uther, though underutilized. So far, there has been a different sort of magical attack on Camelot or on Arthur each week, and Merlin has found himself in the middle of thwarting these plots. Usually part mystery, the action sequences have been seriously lacking.
I like the series and expect it to get better as it goes, but right now I'd rate it a 6/10.
Despite what the article
Despite what the article says, Flashpoint starts 7/3 on Comcast in Northern CA and Eureka starts on Friday, 7/10.
Excellent
Yeah I am really looking forward to Eureka again. I thought Warehouse 13 also looked interesting, that starts on the 7th.
