After having a grand romp with Wolverien I decided to mix it up with Velvet Asasin. I'm a huge theif fan so I had a vauge hope that this console port might have enough thought and game play behind it to be decent. Utter fail.
First off this game commits one of those ultimate sins for me, it has a total assinine check point save system that triggers when wonder over some invisable line. So no going back to finish healing up or whatever unless you wan to redo it every time. Yeah redoing things every time features as a heavy game play component. You must complete large sections of a map perfectly or do them over and over again endlessly. This is not (sadly) abnormal in a stealth game but the real failure is that there is pretty much only one right way to do any area and there is no being clever to get around this (say like leading a bad guy away by tricking him to going and looking at a dead body you carefully placed in plain sight).
Enemies wonder around endlessly in their fixed pattern. My two hours with the game felt like six. Pass.

Bummer
Bummer, I hate wasting time with crappy games. Thanks for the warning.

Thanks for putting up all
Thanks for putting up all these game reviews guys. I'm pretty choosy about what I spend my time on and won't even glance at most games unless I get an ironclad recommendation from someone I trust.
