Just finished trying out the demo for Wanted:Weapons of Fate on 360. This is a game based on the movie Wanted from last summer; yes I mean the ridiculous, "curve the bullet," movie. It should be mentioned that I didn't realize it was a tie in for that movie until I had already finished the demo. It's about what you would expect from a movie tie in game. It's a fairly basic 3rd person shooter with its own version of bullet time which not only slows down time for the other characters but also speeds up your own firing substantially. The demo level is played on a plane that has apparently been taken over by terrorists who flunked out of the marksmen academy. The AI seems pretty weak in that the enemies will just pop in and out of the same cover spot repeatedly until you advance far enough to time their pattern and kill them. Graphically it's behind the curve too, looking about a generation behind most FPS games; probably because they licensed some old engine to kick it out the door quickly. Despite all this though the demo was still fairly fun. Not a game I will buy but enjoyable enough to play for 10 minutes if you don't have anything better to do.
