Lag
For me, at least, the lag is sporadic. I have been in big battles and had no issues, had stuttering in smaller ones. It is mostly not a problem, but occasionally it is a big problem. Based on how they've handled things so far, I'm willing to give Mythic the benefit of the doubt. The other issue is the display issues sometimes on some mobs, when they are underground, and the "ghosts' that remain sometimes when people get away from you. We're a month in and the game has fewer problems and far more to do than Wow at the same point. I'm hopeful.
Lag a Non-Issue?
This is all good stuff, but if anything drives me from the game it will be the server side lag that plagues most big skirmishes. Nothing about that in the notes, which scares me a bit. Do they think we don't notice, or is that the "stuttering" they obliquely reference? In truth, this lag is better than what we dealt with early in DAoC and much better than SB, but it still borders on unplayable at times. I certainly hope it's more of a priority than this posting suggests.
