Bleh
Note that AoC uses the same inane revision system for UI mods that WoW does .. but apparently without the convinience of a 'use downrev mods' option.
Sensible UI vs. Funcom
I tried the default version .. it is nice, but bulky. Need to try the small version next.
AoC seems to be doing all it can to sabotage it though, by reserving random key combinations. Lets see, I need cntrl-# for one of my extra hotkey bars, so I need to move shields to something else. How bout F10-F12. Sorry, F10 and F11 are reserved. Doh. Ok, fine, find somewhere else for them. Go to define that bar .. now cntrl-1 is reserved, for I have no idea what. WTF, Funcom? While you can bind alt-# to extra hotkeys, you can't undefine the holding alt switching your base bar .. so theres no point. The whole effect is .. rather silly.
new version
New version went up yesterday. Available at the same link.
I just set up the 2-bar
I just set up the 2-bar version. I'm going to like this. Just be careful when assigning your hotkeys that you don't overwrite something you don't mean to.
Nice Mod
I tried this out this morning. The added buttons near the bottom center are a god-send for my Ranger. No downside I can see. I've yet to try the 3/4 scale version, but that's likely to be the best solution. I'm really hoping for a UI scale slider in a future version.
Easy to install, not framerate hit I can see. No graphical glitches so far.
