We hopped out and caught Pirates of the Caribbeantonight. I'm not one for doing full blown movie reviews, but I must say that it was a lot of fun. It didn't quite manage to catch the Princes Bride like essence but it was close on several levels. Certainly the best action flick I have seen this summer, but that is allmost daming with faint praise. Definitly worth seeing on the big screen.

I agree on all levels. Great silly fun. Capt. Jack Sparrow is an incredible character... Really cool and just a bit short of The Princess Bride and Everafter.
