I was wondering when this would break. LOTR has finally gone Free to play alla DDO (as in go buy some content packs if you really love us).
While the game never quite grabbed me I would be willing to give the F2P content another shot if other guildies are interested?

I've known about this for a while, but the date was just announced. I checked out the store in beta, and it seems pretty solid. My only concerns were some of the items available are great sellers on the AH (mainly dyes) and that the reputation horses were available with no reputation requirement to use them.
The way the F2P is limited, it may behoove you to create new characters. I'm playing only on Landroval these days. Its the unofficial RP server, has a good population, and a pretty good community.
