So I just finished Fallout 3. It is a game I had started and given up several times before because it wasn't what I expected a Fallout game to be and that was making it tough for me to enjoy. After Dragon Age though I wanted something a little different and I tried to approach it without considering the Fallout universe at all. I found it to actually be a really fun game this time around somehow. To be fair I did skip quite a few sub-quests and non mission related stuff but I did make it to level 18 at the end of the game and was able to pretty much roll over anything in the wastes. The best part though was the ending. I won't spoil it in case anyone is inspired to try again but I did think it was one of the cooler game endings I have seen in a long time. Next time you are looking for a new game to play it might be worth it to give Fallout another shot.

Great game

Ending changes yet again if you have the Broken Steel DLC. There are also any number of great mods over at fallout3nexus.com . There are certainly some things the original development skimped on. Perhaps the thing that struck me most was "what's everyone eating?", because Fallout 2 was so full of settlements with farms and gardens and FO3 has none.

That was a great game glad

That was a great game glad you saw it through. I actually played a couple different ending on that because I wanted the composite to be different.
